Comments: | Initial eruption of a long series from A Vent (= northern vent). Initial eruption a massive column - consisted of a wide, consolidated column of water up to 35-40 feet high. Maximum height sustained for ~30s, when it abruptly subsided and pool drained. Almost all water drained into B Vent (= southwestern vent). |
