| Comments: | Colloidal Pool has been added to the database. This conspicuous feature is located on the other side of the boardwalk from (east of) Scummy Pool in Norris' Porcelain Basin. Its appearance changes through the years (https://www.usgs.gov/index.php/observatories/yvo/news/changing-moods-colloidal-pool-norris-geyser-basin) and there has been past eruptive activity. Additionally, the name associated with thermal feature ID 524 (formerly Prince of Wales Feathers) has been changed to Te Tohu to honor the original Māori name. |
