1050am Woo Man, change @ Norris - 2 visitors reported... this am that a hole was in the middle of the trail between Pearl & Vixen. A steaming hole. ...went and moved the trail & investigated. Its a steaming hole alright ~ 1 foot diameter. It looks like it just fell in – the ground is ~8” thick and below that is a cavern to a depth fo perhaps 2-3’. The Cavern extends (as far as we could see) ~ 3-4’ back under the ground to the north. Wow!
AM GBW went to look @ The New Hole* + while we were there Vixen erupted 4 times in a space of 10 minutes 6-10’ high. Each eruption lasted ~2minutes. Pretty neat.
