| Comments: | 1522 River off from previous cycle, Angle continuous. 1525 BV splashes and heavy steam from Main, but Angle stayed on. 1527 River and Gold on simultaneously with strong water. Water was waning at 1537, then High began to have episodes of jetting. At 1543 the height began to build and about every minute High had strong jetting lasting 30-40 seconds, getting stronger each time. At 1545 High was jetting 8' and held, at 1546 Main Vent had heavy steam and huffing, then at 1547 Back Vents began to steam. High fluctuated up and down but remained steady until 1550 when Gold began to join in. Main Vent continued to have occasional huffs and at 1550 it had a low, thick, angled splash. Water levels continued to improve, and MV had another, thicker splash at 1552. At 1554 Frying Pan started and High and Gold built to lock. By 1555 High Vent was erupting to 15', arching over to East Vent. At 1556 East Vent started and erupted by itself for 22 seconds before the other major vents joined in. |
