Comments:8-18 The star walk from 9pm to 10:30 was beautiful. Lightning flashed far away to the south. Many shooting stars were seen. With no moon the Milky Way was spectacular. So was Echinus’ eruption , it was the 1st or 2nd eruption after a major, so it was preceded by much boiling in the vent. When it finally went about 10:10 pm it seemed enormous, huge plumes of steam & sprays of water. The sound was remarkable too.
