| Comments: | I watched the eruption from the road turnout by Kidney Spring. The eruption happened during a snow storm with strong winds blowing West to East. Often the steam from clepsydra blocked the view of Fountain. My last view of the eruption was at 1435 after which the snow picked up and I lost all sight of the Fountain hill due to whiteout. Interesting Summer weather. |
