Comments:almost an exact reproduction of Wednesday night’s eruption. The pre play from the SE “little finger” vent occasionally reached over 35 feet in the half hour before the eruption splashes or big surges occurred at roughly 1 to 2 minute intervals with the big surges getting more frequent as time progressed. The maximum heights reached during the eruption were comparable to that of Wednesday night. At 11:27 the “little finger “ vent stopped playing and the fourth vent from the NW -“ring ringer”- became extremely noisy sounding like a very loud wide open steam valve. The end of the main water phase can be considered as having ended at 11:43 when the water began to get irregular & less intense – oscillating like a loose fire hose from the main -“thumb”- vent. At the same time however the “little finger” vent started playing again to 40 feet continuous to 11:53 when it began to get intermittent. A good strong water phase was still in progress at midnight from the NW & SE vents when observations stopped.
