| Comments: | At 12:07 pm Ledge was observed in eruption. The thumb was throwing a jet of 50’ for a few minutes which subsided to a 12’ jet and considerable steam. Of the 4 vents on surface the nearest to the thumb was essentially steam but later gave a thing jetting of water. The others were mostly water. At 1223 one of them went into a loud steam phase for 3 min. There was a sizable pool at the side fed by a side vent which laser subsided. Water eruptive phase mostly over by 1230. |
