Note:Shock waves from a powerful, magnitude 8.2, subduction zone earthquake that hit offshore Alaska arrived at Yellowstone's seismic network. Quake occurred at 0015, Yellowstone time.

This quake was the largest to hit Alaska since the 1964 quake. A tsunami was generated but posed no threat. Hopefully everyone is ok. Per mhreeds note, some geysers could change again. Only time will tell.

This is also more powerful than the 2002 Denali earthquake which affected several geysers in YELL.
