Note:7/7/93 - no time noted - Lognote: Biggest news of all: Pearl Geyser is erupting to about 2 feet. I note that it had occasional 4’ bursts in 1983 as noted by Jen Whipple. In 1979 Tom Pittenger reported that “Pearl Geyser continues to pulsate gently in its pastel pool. The overflow from Pearl necessitated the construction of a section of boardwalk along this portion of the trail. Just for general information a description of an eruption of Pearl states that the plume was fan-shaped and reached a height of fifteen feet. It has been many years since an eruption has occurred,“
