| Note: | May 15 1983 Steamboat showed little or no increase in activity from yesterday. I watched it by flashlight for about 20 minutes starting at 2130. In that length of time, I saw 2 powerful bursts from both vents. The rest were small, separated by long pauses (over a minute). Very similar to yesterday’s action, right down to the runoff which was moderate. |
