Note:04/12/1986 - no time noted - Steamboat Geyser – I spent extensive time at Steamboat. Eruptions were every 3 minutes to as long as 7 minutes. Most of the minors were from both vents. The height was from 7 feet to 40 feet. There was run off in the channels, but this could also be caused by snowmelt. = Unnamed Geyser The small geyser between the 2 bridges at the base of Steamboat’s runoff channels and Echinus Geyser was in perpetual activity. The height was only 1 foot, but it would occasionally surge to 2 or 3 feet.
