| Note: | 07/16/1974 Echinus erupted at 1716 was huge. One burst at ~2m I estimated to be well over 100’, probably ~120’. Five other bursts were closer to 100’, and many, many, bursts were in excess of 60’. Duration of the eruption was 6 ½ min. The interval preceding it was 89 minutes with no overflow) |
