Note:09/23/1972 For several days I’ve noticed that Corporal Geyser was having greater than usual run-off at times, however every time I went by Corporal it would be 3”-4” below the edge. Today I witnessed the “eruption”. The pool started to fill and bubble until it rose to overflowing. The bubbling action was relatively gentle. Approx 20 gal of water ran down the run-off channel, the bubbling stopped, and the level dropped. A dull thumping was apparent during the bubbling activity. {no specific time}
