| Note: | 10/12/1964 Steamboat, now the 13th day, seems to be throwing out more water. From 3:07 to 3:37 pm, the south vent played 16 times – 7 plays produced strong runoff in main channel. In the same period, the north vent played 7 times – 3 of the plays reached 30 feet or more. The activity this afternoon is characterized by strong play of massive volume with very quiet intervals. The water level is still down below the ledge in the north vent – about 10 feet down. |
