| Note: | 5-25-84 Cistern ~1130 MDT Temp=68ºC, crater empty down to vent following yesterday’s eruption of Steamboat Geyser at ~0445 MDT. The major eruption of Steamboat awakened employees in the Norris housing area at ~0500 AM who quickly threw coats over their sleep wear (pj’s etc) & came over to witness early portions of the steam phase. |
