| Note: | Upon arrival Echinus had strong roils from BOTH vents, (Very strong from SE vent) similar in appearance to when it is dormant. Sure wonder what happened before that! Left for other things at 1115. HUGE false start @ 1257. Afternoon eruptions all had strong roils from SE vent which is more like the first ones seen 10/22 as opposed to the quick starts of late. Very interesting (freezing) day, glad I was there to see that. |
