There were likely more experienced observers present but for what it’s worth- on returning from basin walk I got to steerage during strong overflow that never seemed to subside. Water came around the left side over the little waterfall three or four times in just a few minutes, so I went up to middle deck and caught the start. Wind absolutely pelted the decks so couldn’t get a great visual but sure heard and felt it. Lots of gravel in the deluge but did not notice any rocks, at least on the decks.

1729 start time per William. Hopefully he willpost details. Most peopea at the BBQ but heard it and dashed over. At 1h20m the runoff in steam phase was still a Micah 4. At 2h it was down to a Micah 3.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Po2wgK3MGz8ISsV-xixJzfrX9aAuvj6FUSGS' Tantalus Creek graph. Due to preciptation, Steamboat's spike isn't as noticeable as with previous eruptions. Steamboat's water reached gauge @ 1845 (12.7 cfps, from 11.5 cfps), highest @ 1900 (12.9 cfps).
