Note:7/24/1984 In between majors, Vixen had minor eruptions every few seconds to minutes. Among these were “minor-majors” which were short but higher (6-8 ft) and had a very distinct drain sound following. As time for the major neared, there was more gurgling and splashing (very low), making it hard to tell beginnings & ends, if there were such. There were 20 “minor-majors” in between the two eruptions. The last (weak) one was around 13 min before the major.
